It's not so much that you need to render motion pieces like this, but I think it shows how simple shapes and value and faked lighting can be successfully used to impart some of the emotional reactions we discussed in class.

some of these make me feel as if they're simply a series of photoshop files that have been key framed together. they're pretty great.
